Whew...what a day in Charlottesville! It's the day before tour, and we've had a major snow storm. Classes were cancelled and the University has essentially shut down. But the intrepid Glee Club soldiers on and thanks to Daniel Hine, we've arranged to have our dress rehearsal at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where he's the music director. Everyone is psyched to get out of town, as soon as last-minute homework assignments are done and bags are packed.
They've finally started plowing and salting the roads, so here's hoping we can depart on time tomorrow for our first stop at the Men's Choral Invitational Festival at the University of Maryland. The evening concert in the Chapel begins at 8, and well be singing the men's choruses from Towson and Maryland, so join us if you're able!
